At the recent Commonwealth meeting in Trinidad, Zeinab Badawi spoke to Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, about Pakistan's contribution to regional stability.
He told her that the American use of drones is a threat to Pakistan's sovereignty. He wants the American's to transfer their drone technology to Pakistan so that they can combat the insurgent threat themselves and he also urges India to co-operate in this matter - saying that both countries have an interest in defeating terrorism.
He urged the Americans to stay in Afghanistan until the job is done and indicated that this could be at least five years.
