The three big games console makers - Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo - have been locked in battle for the last few years.

Sony's PS3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360 have proved popular with hardcore gamers but it has been Nintendo's Wii that has become the best selling console of the current generation.
