Google has pulled 22 apps from its Android Market after they were found to contain fraudulent software.
But security blogs report that Microsoft is also getting attacked. A new SMS malware disables messaging in the latest Windows Phone 7.5 system known as Mango.
In other news, Paypal announced plans to launch a daily deals service, in a move seen as a challenge to the web's biggest daily offer site, Groupon.
