On the programme this week, SNP leader John Swinney outlines his party's policies on the 'oil fund', the independence of Scotland, public spending and higher taxes. He also tells Sir David that the SNP are the most effective party for Scottish interests at Westminster.

The Israeli Minister without Portfolio, Danny Naveh, joins the programme from a Cabinet meeting in Jerusalem. He tells Sir David what is needed for the peace process is for the Palestinians to accept practically, not only in principle, the structure that is within the Mitchell Report - which means first of all an unconditional cessation of all violence and terrorist activities.

Chief Executive of the Countryside Alliance, Richard Burge, discusses the incident involving an egg being thrown at Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott. He tells the programme the sensible thing for John Prescott at that event would have been 'not to storm past people with a grin on his face but to actually go and talk to them'.
