He said reforms introduced by Labour would not have prevented the BSE outbreak, but would have helped them manage the crisis much better. Also in the programme, David Trimble, the Northern Ireland First Minister outlined his determination to ban Sinn Fein from attending north-south bodies. And Paddy Ashdown, former Liberal Democrat leader, talked about his attempt to form a collaboration with Tony Blair.
