The Agriculture Minister Nick Brown talked about the BSE inquiry and said he could not say how many people would die from vCJD. He said reforms introduced by Labour would not have prevented the BSE outbreak, but would have helped them manage the crisis much better. Also in the programme, David Trimble, the Northern Ireland First Minister outlined his determination to ban Sinn Fein from attending north-south bodies. And Paddy Ashdown, former Liberal Democrat leader, talked about his attempt to form a collaboration with Tony Blair.
