The Hawksworth family look for a green fridge
Throughout 2007 we are following the progress of the Hawksworth family from Castle Donington.

They are attempting to reduce their carbon footprint, and save money on their energy bills.

And we've done some number-crunching, and discovered how much they are contributing to global warming.

Now we want them to go 'low carb', and Declan is on hand to help.

  • Our latest report:
  • Breakfast's low carb family

The Hawksworth family are turning one of their white-appliances green as they go in search of a more energy efficient fridge.

Declan looked at the energy rating system used on white appliances to help buyers find the greenest products.

And one member of the family celebrated her 17 birthday, leaving her to ponder whether she will take driving lessons, or look for a greener form of transport.
