Since the start of 2007, Breakfast has been looking at the future school.

We've seen how technology has changed the classroom from a room with desks and chairs, to a state- of-the-art space with computers and plasma screens.

We'll have more reports in the coming months on Breakfast, and we'd like to hear your thoughts.

Fingerprinting is something you'd normally associate with police stations but the technology is now being used in schools.

Whether it's keeping track of library books, healthy eating or the pupils themselves, thousands of systems are being sold to both primary and secondary schools.

It is proving an increasingly contentious issue.

Since we launched this series in January, we have had loads of emails from parents and schools telling us about biometric systems such as fingerprint recognition being used in school libraries, canteens and classrooms.
