Romantic comedy is something of a departure for Natasha Richardson.
Normally known for her serious stage roles, she stars with Jennifer Lopez and Ralph Fiennes in the comedy Maid in Manhattan, which is on general release right now.

In Maid In Manhattan, Jennifer Lopez plays a hotel maid who is mistaken for a socialite when a senate candidate finds her trying on an expensive dress.
Natasha Richardson, of course, is the socialite, right down to the Manolo Blahnik shoes.
She's not normally one for ad-libbing, but, as she reveals to Dermot, this was a type she felt she knew well enough to add a few suggestions in the script and wardrobe departments.
