Karzai urges voters to polls

Afghan President Hamid Karzai has called on citizens to come out and vote in Thursday's presidential elections.

Speaking during a ceremony marking Afghanistan's Independence Day, he said they should vote "for the country's stability, for the country's peace, for the country's progress".
