Afghan election security stepped up

In Afghanistan, security is being stepped up ahead of the presidential election on Thursday, amid fears of more violence.

Brigadier General Damian Cantwell, chief of the ISAF Election Task Force, said the security forces were "doing everything we can" to ensure Afghans would be able to vote safely.
