George W Bush says that he has seen a lot of weird things during his presidency but that watching a journalist throw shoes at him could rank as one of the strangest.
In an interview with the American television channel ABC he said he thought the rest of the Iraqi press corps had been "humiliated" when one of their colleagues threw shoes at him during a press conference in Baghdad.
