Bush thanks troops on last Iraq trip

George W Bush has thanked hundreds of US troops in Iraq during a final visit to the capital Baghdad.

Just over 30 days before he hands over to President-elect Barack Obama, Mr Bush told the gathered servicemen and women that their presence in Iraq had made it a safer and freer place.
