Firefighters in Greece are battling wildfires in the northeast of the capital, Athens. Investment banker Manos Venardos lives near the fire at Lake Marathon, and saw what it looked like reflected in his wing mirror.
Charles Magee noticed how the smoke reduced the sun's strength while he was sitting on the rooftop of a youth hostel, near the Acropolis.
