Readers have been sending in their pictures of wintry weather across England. Sebastian Querec snapped the snow storm at midnight in London's South Ealing Road. At 4am Thomas Dean passed the Hackney Empire embossed in snow on his way to work. Don in Hailsham, East Sussex found this frosty figure at the bus stop "waiting for the bus that will never come." Crowds stranded by the snow have made for the hills with sledges, snowboards and mattresses as in this photo of Muswell Hill revellers sent by Nichola Hodges Snow blanketed Epsom Downs railway station in Surrey when Tony Hathaway tried to get to work early in the morning. Steve Aucott captured this view of London from the 24th floor of the Shell building. Keira says she had a beautiful commute this morning and sent this image from Canary Wharf, London. Off work today, Mike Bland went for a walk in Dinton Pastures Country Park in Berkshire and sent this picture of a snowy scene across the lake. David Shipman from Hammersmith, London opened the door to an unexpected guest as he set off to work this morning. Richard Swaffield anticipating the bad weather worked from home but first took his son Benjamin out to enjoy the snow. Satyasarma sent this picture of fun in the snow.
