Alistair Minton was our first reader to spot and photograph The Box - the container that BBC News is following around the world for a year to tell a story of globalisation and the world economy. But Alistair Minton was not the only person to catch a glimpse of The Box as it set off from Nuneaton station. Adam Jackson was waiting for a train, standing on the platform, when The Box passed by... ...first by train; and then by truck. Alastair Blackwood was the next person to take a picture of The Box when it was making its way to Paisley for its first pick up. And Andrew Shaw spotted The Box being loaded at the Chivas Regal warehouse, from his office window in Paisley. Joan McDonnell also saw The Box in Paisley while it was waiting to be loaded. Eagle-eyed Robert Fleming spied The Box before it left Greenock Ocean Terminal. Robert Fleming also managed to photograph The Box again - once it was safely onboard the Vega Stockholm ship and sailing down the River Clyde. Not long after, Chris Hughes noticed our bright red container while eating lunch on the banks of the River Clyde. And John Newth also spotted The Box after leaving Greenock. St.Michael's Rowing Club in Dun Laoghaire spotted The Box entering Dublin Port. Photo: Ger Ryan. Seen The Box? Send pictures to [email protected] or our Flickr group - see link right.
