Mark Speight was one of the most popular and recognisable presenters on British children's TV. He is believed to have been found dead at Paddington Station in London. Mr Speight, who had originally wanted to be a cartoonist, stumbled into presenting after hearing of an audition whilst helping out on the set of a television show. His big break came in 1995 when he began hosting BBC art show SMart. The star helped recreate Constable's The Haywain on a gigantic scale in London's Trafalgar Square. The project helped launch the fourth series of BBC show Rolf On Art, presented by Rolf Harris. Mr Speight met future fiancee Natasha Collins (left) on the game show See it Saw it. Ms Collins died in the couple's home in January. The star, who also hosted Scratchy & Co, Smarteenies and Insides Out, will be missed by legions of young fans.
