Lebanon-born singer Mika arrived wearing a brooch worth $6.5m (�3.2m).

Dave Grohl, who performed with his group the Foo Fighters, also ran a bar for the performers.

My Chemical Romance also attended. Next year's awards will be held at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
