The world-famous Orangerie Museum in the Tuileries Gardens in Paris reopens on 17 May after eight years of renovation. The centrepiece is a room devoted to Monet's Les Nympheas, a panoramic series of water lily paintings. French Culture Minister Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres received a guided tour of the room. Renoir is another legendary impressionist painter whose work is on display at the renovated museum. Renoir's 1909 work Le Clown, a portrait of his youngest son, is one of the masterpieces featured. The Orangerie Museum is located on the southern terrace of the Tuileries Gardens in central Paris.
