McFly were the big winners at the Smash Hits and T4 awards on Sunday after they scooped six trophies including best UK band, best single and album. The event at London's Wembley Arena Pavilion also saw Former Blue singer Lee Ryan win the trophy for best solo artist. Among the performers was Rachel Stevens who won the accolade of most fanciable female while McFly's Danny Jones was named most snoggable male. US group Pussycat Dolls beat off competition from Sugababes and Girls Aloud to win best video for Don't Cha. Best video nominees Sugababes were among the stars at the event hoping for a win. Akon was another happy winner as he walked away with the trophy for best R'n'B act.
