Ben Malor and Jenny Horrocks
Ben Malor (left) will present live from Skyy FM
As Africa Live! examines the issue of crime and punishment, Ben Malor brings the views of the continent to the airwaves live from the Ghanaian city of Takoradi.

Malor, who is Ghanaian himself, will present the next edition of Africa Live! - on Wednesday 2 October - from the studios of the BBC's partner broadcaster Skyy FM.

But he has also been travelling the country to find out what people think about this week's hot topic, crime and punishment.

"It is fantastic being here," Malor said of his return home.

"I've managed to travel from the south to the north, a journey which was completely revealing and eye-opeing."

And he outlined the way the programme would be looking at crime in Africa.

"We're looking at the case of Amina Lawal - the Nigerian woman sentenced to stoning to death for adultary as soon as her young baby is weaned of breast milk," Malor said.

"And also, what punishment should be given to a top government official who steals millions from the country?

And what about the ordinary labourer who steals because they're hungry?"

Africa Live! will be live at 1630GMT and 1930GMT.

"We expect your call from all over Africa and the rest of the world," he said.

"The programme from Africa for Africa!"
