World Health Organization Director, General Margaret Chan, has said there are now 1,003 confirmed cases of swine flu in 20 countries.
Speaking by video-link from Geneva to the United Nations, she said flu viruses are ''constantly changing'' in unpredictable ways, and stressed the need for vigilance.
