Guernsey man wins half marathon

Guernsey man Steve Dawes has won the 21st Jersey Hash Half Marathon in blustery conditions.

He finished in one hour 11 minutes, five minutes ahead of the first Jersey runner, two-time winner Paul Holey.

The first woman home was Jersey runner Sarah Davis in her first Jersey Half Marathon.

There were more than 400 entries for the half marathon which raised money for the Jersey Sports Association for the Disabled.
