New shops are opening in Jersey for Polish people who are missing their favourite food from home. The two shops are the idea of a Polish security guard who has lived in Jersey for the past five years.
Konrad Czarnek wants to cater for the 15,000 Polish people who live and work on the island.
Polish meat, drinks and items such as honey will be sold. The shops will be located in the town centre and near Havre Des Pas.
Mr Czarnek is also applying for a licence to sell Polish vodka and beer.
