Wildlife car park plans proposed
A Jersey deputy has put forward suggestions for a centre for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts to be set up on a car park.

Deputy Terry Le Main wants to change the Seymour car park in Grouville.

In 2003, he persuaded planning authorities not to allow a house to be built on the site.

He said he wanted more benches put up and a hut for people to get information about marine and wildlife they can see, as it is a popular walking area.

He said he would like to see the area, which is the only open space between La Rocq and Gorey, tidied up and abandoned vehicles moved.

But he added that it could still be used as a car park for people and customers of the nearby pub.
