Fewer tourists will visit Jersey if inflation remains at its current level, a new report has warned. Other destinations with the same attractions as Jersey are also blamed for the decline in tourism, says the report by government consultants Oxera.
Since 1997, visitor numbers have fallen by 25% and their spending has fallen by about 33%.
A workshop to examine ways to develop the industry is to be run by the States Economic Development Committee.
