Plans for multi-storey car park
A new five-storey car park with space for 240 cars could be built in St Helier, Jersey.

Regal Developments has applied to demolish a petrol station and storage units in Kensington Place and build a car park, petrol station and shops.

The plan would allow residents to rent a space in the car park, which will have a swipe-card entry system.

It comes at a time when the States is cutting the amount it spends on building projects.

The application is to be considered by the island's planning authorities.
