Plea for more firework marshals
Fireworks
Nearly 25,000 was raised for Great Ormond Street last year
Volunteers are needed for the largest bonfire and firework display in Jersey to help raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Organisers, Jersey Waterfront Initiatives, need 100 people to act as marshals for safety and crowd control in St Helier on 5 November.

About 10,000 people attended the festivities last year and more are expected this year at the Waterfront.

A 20ft (6m) bonfire is being built near the trampoline and skate park.

There will be a large firework display, food stores, live music and entertainment.

The organisers are hoping to better the 24,500 raised last year.
