Jersey's St Helier lifeboat has searched the south coast of the island for debris from the French trawler L'Armand. The boat was launched on Sunday after a request from the French authorities.
The L'Armand is believed to have capsized off the south west coast of the island last Thursday.
It had four French fishermen on board, but as yet only one body has been recovered.
A distress call was received just after 1500 GMT on Thursday from the 12-metre crabber.
A trawler recovered the body of one of the four crewmen at 1630 GMT on Thursday.
