A Jersey artist has been shortlisted for a national art prize.Marco Amura, who is originally from Jersey, has been selected for his screenprint of the Carlton Hotel in St Helier.
The Hunting Art Prizes is a national art competition which was established in 1980 to recognise works of outstanding merit.
The categories covered by the award include painting, drawing and printing.
Marco Amura is among six artists who are competing to win the first prize of �12,000.
The prize winners will be announced at The Royal College of Art in London on 16 February.
The exhibition has previously toured to venues in Bath, Swansea, Newport, and Glasgow and in 2004 a selection of works will be on show at The Gallery at Trebah Gardens, near Falmouth in Cornwall.
