The QM2 is as tall as a 23-storey building |
Images of the seas around Jersey are featuring on board the new cruise liner, the QM2. Three oil paintings by Jersey artist David Henley are hanging on the luxury liner that was launched by the Queen.
Mr Henley was asked by the QM2's design team to put forward three colour sketches after they saw some of his work at an art fair in London.
His pictures were accepted and he was commissioned to do three oil paintings.
The QM2 is the largest cruise liner ever built, so tall that passengers on the top deck will be able to look the Statue of Liberty in the eye when they enter New York.
The cheapest ticket for a six day cruise costs about 1,000.
