Beauty spot plans approved
Bouley Bay
Plans for an underwater nature trail have been approved
Divers and holidaymakers will be able to visit an underwater nature trail at Jersey's Bouley Bay this summer.

Planning officials have approved the first stage of improvements for beachgoers at the beauty spot.

There are also proposals to improve facilities for divers and tourists visiting Bouley Bay.

Plans to build new rock pools and an underwater nature trail have been approved by planning officials.

They have also agreed changes to the slipway and steps down to the beach and also to the parking and pedestrian areas.

Alterations to the existing public toilets are still waiting for permission.

Planners are being asked to approve plans to knock them down to make way for new toilets, showers, a cafe and a balcony overlooking the sea.
