Flybe battles BA for Bristol flights
Flybe
Flybe hopes to increase flights between Jersey and Guernsey
Jersey people should be able to fly between the island and Bristol with a choice of carrier by next May after Flybe announced its intention to fly to the city.

Among the 16 new routes announced by the airline on Monday are flights to Scotland, the south of France and Belfast.

British Airways already flies regular services to Bristol.

It is expected the new services will boost Flybe's capacity by more than five million seats.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday discussions are due to take place with Guernsey's States about a proposal to allow Flybe to operate more flights between the two islands.
