Ben-my-Chree ferry returns to sea

Ben-my-Chree
Early ferry passengers will be transferred to Heysham by coach

The Ben-my-Chree ferry will return to service after two weeks in dry docks for maintenance works.

Her first sailing was due to be 0845 GMT from the Isle of Man to Heysham, but additional work has caused a slight extra delay.

The ferry's first sailing will now take place on Monday afternoon.

The Monday morning Heysham sailing has been delayed as a result and passengers will have to go to Liverpool and be transferred by coach.

The coach will drop passengers off at Lancaster Railway station and Heysham Port.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company said it is taking steps to contact any passengers affected by the changes to Monday's schedules.
