Ben My Chree
Services are due to resume on 1 January
More ferries to and from the Isle of Man have been cancelled in bad weather, the Steam Packet company has said.

The early morning service from Douglas to Heysham, Lancashire, was called off and all passengers were transferred to the New Year's Day morning sailing.

The ferry service from Heysham to Douglas, due to depart at 1300 GMT, was also called off until Monday.

The Dublin to Douglas service was unaffected. All services are expected to resume on New Year's Day.

Bad weather was forecast across the North West on Saturday and Sunday, with winds predicted to gust at up to 80mph (129km/h).
