Fleet flagship returns to service
Ben My Chree
The Ben My Chree has been in dry dock for two weeks
The flagship of the Isle of Man Steam Packet company, Ben My Chree, is back in service after a refit and overhaul.

It entered dry dock for refurbishment and an engine overhaul at Birkenhead in Merseyside. The �1m work has included upgrading the passenger lounge.

Ben My Chree has resumed her twice daily year-round sailings between Douglas and Heysham in Lancashire.

The twice daily summer services to and from Liverpool, operated by Superseacat Two, begin on Friday.
