 The Ben My Chree will be in dry dock for two weeks |
The flagship of the Isle of Man Steam Packet company, Ben My Chree, begins a refit and overhaul on Monday. It enters dry dock for an engine overhaul and interior refurbishment by North West Shiprepairers at Bidston Dock, Birkenhead. The interior work includes upgrading the passenger lounge, extending the Blue Riband Lounge and refurbishing the 20 passenger cabins. Passengers will sail on Superseacat Two from Heysham for the next two weeks. The ship m.v. C.F.F. Seine will take freight traffic.
