Island funds increase to �120.5bn
Latest research shows Guernsey's finance industry is booming.

The value of the island's fund assets reached �120.5bn at the end of September, according to the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.

The figures show an increase of �5.7bn - or 5% - from the end of June. Fund assets have also been growing for 16 consecutive quarters.

The total number of funds in Guernsey now stands at 885, an increase of 40 since June and 18% over the past year.

The commission said the �120.5bn total set new record levels for the island.
