Health wrangle leaves care gaps
Recruitment problems in mental health care are causing concern in Guernsey.

The island only has just one of the three consultants needed in adult psychiatry because of a delay in agreeing a new contract.

The British Medical Association and the Public Remuneration Committee are wrangling over new terms.

Locums are filling in, but the Health Department wants to see an agreement reached as soon as possible because of a lack of continuity for patients.
