Checks to stop underage drinkers
Teenagers drinking
Some teenagers may have fake ID, police say
Underage drinkers are the target of a new police campaign which is being launched in Guernsey.

Officers will be making random spot-checks on pubs and clubs and checking people's ID to ensure they are legally allowed to be served alcohol.

Police are concerned teenagers are getting away with using fake documents.

Guernsey's Alcohol and Drugs Concern is backing the initiative, but added that in some cases adults had to set a better example.
