Limited response to car sharing
Staff at Guernsey's Princess Elizabeth Hospital are giving a luke-warm response to attempts to get them to leave their cars at home.

Dr David Jeffs, director of Public Health, has called on workers to try car-sharing, using public transport, or cycle in an effort to reduce traffic.

But he admits there is little evidence that staff are taking notice.

He says initiatives should not be taken by the health department alone, and must include the whole of government.
