Time-keeping improves at airline
Aurigny
The company has recruited more staff in Guernsey
Guernsey's state-owned airline has improved its time-keeping.

There has been a 30% improvement in Aurigny's departure times to London Gatwick over the past three months.

Punctuality across the airline's complete network has also improved, with 91% of flights departing within 15 minutes of their scheduled time.

Marketing Manager Ian Le Moigne says it is the result of deliberate effort, and has been achieved with the help of the entire team.

He said: "We have recognised that we needed to improve our punctuality across the whole of the network, and not just to London Gatwick.

"We've implemented some changes and recruited more staff in Guernsey.

"We've got the new airport terminal and we've changed some of the timings on our aircraft departing to Bristol and Manchester, which have improved the turn-round times at the airport.

"So we've made some important changes and we're delighted to see the punctuality figures are back up."
