Traders claim swearing and aggression is affecting business
Anti-social behaviour in Guernsey is damaging local businesses, according to a local restaurateur.

Chris Weymss says the problem is caused by groups of young people gathering in the Bridge area in the evenings.

Mr Weymss says bottles have been thrown at his restaurant and leaflets stolen from outside.

Guernsey Police are to hold a meeting with Bridge traders to discuss the problem, which is affecting a number of businesses in the area.

Traders say swearing and aggressive behaviour by a minority of young people is intimidating customers.

Mr Weymss say he would like to see parents exercising more control over their children, as well as extra police officers on the beat in the evenings.
