Organisers hope the weather will allow the Red Arrows to fly |
Plans for Guernsey's Battle of Britain air show have been completed. The show will have a number of its usual attractions, as well as some new ones, and is due to take place on 9 September.
On the day, the RAF will open the show with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight which will include Lancaster and Spitfire aircraft.
Organisers are hoping the weather will co-operate this year and allow the Red Arrows aerobatics team to fly.
Other events include the Mile of Pennies, a concert in St James and a fashion show.
Guernsey's own 201 Squadron, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, is sending a 35-strong contingent, including 10 pipers, from its base in Scotland.
