Post vote for all islanders
Postal voting
Anyone wanting to vote by post must be on the electoral register
Guernsey residents who want to register for a postal vote for the forthcoming General Election can do so from Thursday.

In the past, postal votes have only been available to people who were unable to get to the polling station due to disability or being out of the island.

Now the option to cast a vote through the post is open to all islanders.

Forms are available from Sir Charles Frossard House, the Greffe and the Guille-Allez Library.

Applications can also be made online or through parish douzaine and constables offices.

Anyone wanting to place a postal vote must be on the electoral roll, which closes on 31 January.

But the postal vote register will remain open to registered voters until 1200 GMT on 16 April.
