Greeck PM hails deal as 'important for euro'

The Greek Prime Minister, George Papandreou, has hailed a deal to stabilise his country's finances as important for the whole euro zone.

EU leaders say they are ready to act to shore up Greece's finances but they have made no specific promise of aid.
