Irish vote results announced

The Republic of Ireland has voted 67.1% in favour of ratifying the EU Lisbon Treaty, final results show.

Returning Officer Maurice Coughlan announced the results with more than two-thirds voting "Yes", just 16 months after voters rejected the treaty first time round.
