Greek fires threaten monastery

Firefighters in Greece are still battling fierce wildfires whipped up by strong winds.

In Nea Makri, south of Marathon, local authorities said a blaze stretching for four kilometres was tearing down a hillside towards some houses.

A dozen nuns were evacuated from the nearby Monastery of Saint Ephrem.
