Tories: 'Welsh voters are fed up'

In Wales, the Labour Party failed to top the poll for the first time in a national election in over 90 years, coming second to the Conservatives in the European elections.

The Welsh nationalists of Plaid Cymru came third and the UK Independence Party fourth - all four parties winning one seat in Brussels.

Cheryl Gillan speaks for the Conservatives in Wales and said her party had been pleasantly surprised.
