A Chechen man has been charged in Russia with involvement in last year's murder of a US journalist in Moscow. Prosecutors say Muslim Ibragimov was involved in the killing of Paul Klebnikov, the editor of the Russian edition of Forbes magazine.
The charges were announced after Mr Ibragimov and another Chechen suspect were extradited to Russia from Belarus.
Klebnikov was shot dead as he left his office last July, in what appeared to be a contract killing.
The other man deported from Belarus at the same time as Mr Ibragimov is being questioned, prosecutors told Russian news agencies.
Klebnikov was the first to publish a list of Russia's 100 wealthiest people - some of whom may have disliked publicity.
His murder led to an international outcry.
More than a dozen journalists have been killed in Russia, apparently in connection with their work, since President Vladimir Putin took office in late 1999.
