Boat death inquest starts
An inquest in Jersey has been hearing details of how two men from the island died when their boat sank off White Rock on the north east coast near Rozel.

Jerseymen Roy Spencer, 46, and Terry Rennell, 55, were killed when the boat they had bought just three days before overturned.

The pair had registered the 4.5m-long boat, fibreglass-hulled boat with the harbour department on 24 July.

The inquest is hearing the circumstances surrounding the death of the men on 27 July, who were good friends and keen fishermen.

The inquest is also due to hear from the Harbours Department.
